Tickets Now on Sale For Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Starring Tracy Letts and Amy Morton

Tickets are now on sale for the Broadway revival of Edward Albee’s classic play Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? starring Tracy Letts and Tony nominee Amy Morton. Directed by Pam MacKinnon, the production will begin performances September 27 at the Booth Theatre and is scheduled to open on October 13, the 50th anniversary of the play’s 1962 Broadway premiere.

In addition to Letts as George and Morton as Martha, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? will star Carrie Coon as Honey and Madison Dirks as Nick. The cast will reprise their roles on Broadway after starring in the production at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago and Arena Stage in Washington D.C.

Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is the story of a verbally and physically abusive couple who invite a younger work colleague and his wife over for dinner. The play originally opened at Broadway’s Billy Rose Theatre in 1962 starring Uta Hagen and Arthur Hill. The show was most recently revived on Broadway in 2005 starring Kathleen Turner and Tony winner Bill Irwin.
